Chair Yoga – Mind, Body & Balance

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Monday, repeating until December 20, 2022
Life is full of challenges, and it is important to keep moving so that we can keep ourselves healthy as we age. This class is also great for pre-or post-surgery.
Class Intention: Is to have you re-gain, maintain or exceed your current activity level. This class is designed by Nicky Poulin, Yoga Instructor/Therapist/Teacher Trainer for EVERYbody. Specifically created to increase your mobility, range of motion, strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, and more. This class also includes mindfulness practices, breath work, brain body work and stress management techniques. Working towards the decreasing falls or fall prevention, promote healthy aging or for those that just have not been active in a while! All levels are welcome, and the class really promoted DOING & Completing more than worrying about perfection! Go where you can, do what you can, and have fun while you’re doing it!
Things you will need: Sturdy chair (without arms – kitchen chair or card table chair works well), small hand towel, yoga mat (for non-skid if you have one), rubber yoga strap, rope or bathrobe tie, a soft squishy ball if you have one, 1 inch dowel cut in a 2 ft length, wedge, 2 yoga blocks.
