Fascia Stretch & Yoga (60 min)

Looking for a deep tissue massage and wanting to get rid of those tight achy areas that cause pain and discomfort all over our body?
This class offers relief. Using a variety of props, neuro response techniques, yoga therapy, and more you can be sure that this class will help.
Beneficial, for those who have experienced any sort of injury, (pulled/tight groins, shoulders, hips, etc.) or pre/post operations, cancer treatments, to many hours sitting at your desk, stress or anxiety… etc.
Fascia is the mucous membrane between the skin and the muscles. Think of a chicken breast, you have the skin and the muscle (meat), in-between is the fascia, that white icky stuff… when it becomes dehydrated or stressed (nerve endings live in the fascia) begin to tighten, once that occurs the body then starts to tighten, which then also affects the brain and the whole nervous system. When this happens you begin to experience dis-ease and disease, ailments like chronic pain, fibromyalgia, neuropathy just to name a few begin to manifest in the body. This class offers tools and techniques that help to alleviate and get rid of those ailments and aches and pains.
This class does cause sensation, however the residual effects are incredible… see you on the mat!
Things you will need: Yoga Ball (Tennis or Squash Ball ok), Strap, Blanket big enough to make a roll with, bare wall, and a foam roller. We do have the required props for sale at the studio!
