Help Us Bring the Circle Forward.\nJoin us for a special weekend of Sacred Circle Dance\, learning\, connection and community. \nOur facilitators\, Carrie Fawcett\, MMus\, Ceremonialist & Sacred Circle Dance Leader\, and Kathleen Leeson\, RH\, Shamanic Healer & Clinical Herbalist\, are seasoned instructors who have been involved in Sacred Circle Dance within their Ottawa community. They bring years of experience\, a love of the tradition\, and a warm\, welcoming approach to teaching and sharing these dances. \nOur intention is to help create a local community of leaders who can carry this beautiful tradition forward. Many will remember the Sacred Circle Dances lovingly led by Kelly Van Raalte. This weekend offers an opportunity to learn\, practise\, connect and help keep the circle moving. \nTHE WEEKEND INCLUDES\n\n♥ Training in 12 folk & traditional circle dances\n♥ Practical facilitator skills\n♥ Learning to read dance symbols & instructions\n♥ Training manual\n♥ Access to music & videos\n♥ Hands-on practice and opportunities to lead\n\nFRIDAY\, OCTOBER 2\n1:00–5:00 PM — Training \n5:30–6:30 PM — Community Potluck\nBring something to share. \n7:00–9:30 PM — OPEN COMMUNITY CIRCLE DANCE\nThe Friday evening dance is open to everyone in the community. \nFee: $25 or donation \nSATURDAY\, OCTOBER 3\n9:00 AM–5:00 PM — Training \n12:30–1:30 PM — Lunch\nBring your own. \nSUNDAY\, OCTOBER 4\n9:00 AM–3:00 PM — Training \n12:30–1:30 PM — Lunch\nBring your own. \nREGISTRATION FEES\nEARLY BIRD — $330\nRegister by September 14\, 2026 \nREGULAR — $380 \nA $150 non-refundable deposit secures your place. \nSpace is limited to ensure personal attention and plenty of opportunity to practise. \nWHAT TO BRING\nWear comfortable\, loose clothing. Join us for a joyful evening of Sacred Circle Dance\, exploring beautiful folk and traditional dances from cultures around the world. \nNo dance experience is needed!\nOur experienced facilitators will gently guide you through each dance.
