Join us for a special weekend of Sacred Circle Dance, learning, connection and community.

Our facilitators, Carrie Fawcett, MMus, Ceremonialist & Sacred Circle Dance Leader, and Kathleen Leeson, RH, Shamanic Healer & Clinical Herbalist, are seasoned instructors who have been involved in Sacred Circle Dance within their Ottawa community. They bring years of experience, a love of the tradition, and a warm, welcoming approach to teaching and sharing these dances.

Our intention is to help create a local community of leaders who can carry this beautiful tradition forward. Many will remember the Sacred Circle Dances lovingly led by Kelly Van Raalte. This weekend offers an opportunity to learn, practise, connect and help keep the circle moving.

THE WEEKEND INCLUDES

• ♥ Training in 12 folk & traditional circle dances
• ♥ Practical facilitator skills
• ♥ Learning to read dance symbols & instructions
• ♥ Training manual
• ♥ Access to music & videos
• ♥ Hands-on practice and opportunities to lead

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2

1:00–5:00 PM — Training

5:30–6:30 PM — Community Potluck
Bring something to share.

7:00–9:30 PM — OPEN COMMUNITY CIRCLE DANCE
The Friday evening dance is open to everyone in the community.

Fee: $25 or donation

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3

9:00 AM–5:00 PM — Training

12:30–1:30 PM — Lunch
Bring your own.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4

9:00 AM–3:00 PM — Training

12:30–1:30 PM — Lunch
Bring your own.

REGISTRATION FEES

EARLY BIRD — $330
Register by September 14, 2026

REGULAR — $380

A $150 non-refundable deposit secures your place.

Space is limited to ensure personal attention and plenty of opportunity to practise.

WHAT TO BRING

Wear comfortable, loose clothing. Indoor shoes, socks or bare feet are welcome. Please bring a water bottle and your own lunch for Saturday and Sunday.
