Darlene Tripp

After retiring from a 34-year career in the financial industry, Darlene was inspired to create a business from the desire to help others become organized and to assist seniors where service gaps were lacking. Her personal career experience and caregiving journey were also part of this inspiration.

Established in 2020, Hello Darlene provides senior transitions, eldercare planning, professional organizing, decluttering, downsizing & relocating, legacy planning, aging-in-place consulting, senior talks and tea wellness visits, and retirement living consulting, plus more.

Over the past five years, Darlene’s business has grown and now provides part-time employment to others in the community while frequently collaborating with other senior care businesses. She has also seen an increase in demand for companionship services and elder care planning services, both locally and within Ontario. Services are offered both in person and virtually.

Hello Darlene is active in the local community, sharing information, tips, and resources through speaker engagements. Downsizing services are operated as sustainably as possible, ensuring donations go to organizations in need within the community as a priority, avoiding the landfill.

The business was created with a desire to help others. We are proud of our New Small Business of the Year award for 2023 through the Chamber of Commerce and our nomination for Business of the Year through the PARO Women’s Centre. It is an honor to be able to support individuals and families in crisis or struggling in ways that positively impact their overall well-being and mental health.
